The astra lights have been specially designed for new low energy lamps.
With these new lamps it is easier the create bright lights witch have a light-colour near the real daylight.
Also the construction of the lights are made to last a long time. The parts are not made of plastic that turns yellow, they are made of metal that has been painted white.
The metal parts can be painted white or they can be chromeplated.
